Mint authority
If the mint authority is still active, new supply can be printed at any time and dumped on holders.
Solana token risk scanner
Paste a Solana contract address. Sniff reads on-chain authorities, liquidity, holder concentration, developer activity and insider clusters, then returns a verdict in five lines.
Signals
Each scan runs the same six checks against live data. Thresholds are fixed and public, so two people scanning the same token get the same answer.
If the mint authority is still active, new supply can be printed at any time and dumped on holders.
An active freeze authority can lock any wallet’s tokens, so holders can’t sell.
Share of the LP that is burned or locked. Unlocked liquidity can be pulled in one transaction.
Combined share of the ten largest wallets, excluding pools and curve accounts.
How much of the supply the creator wallet still holds, and whether it has exited.
Wallets among the top holders that are flagged as linked, bundled at launch or funded from the same source.
How it works
Sniff doesn’t guess and doesn’t ask for your wallet. It reads public data, applies fixed rules and explains the result in plain language.
No critical flags and at most one caution. Still do your own research.
No critical flags, but two or more signals need attention.
At least one critical signal, such as an active mint or unlocked liquidity.
Roadmap
The scanner is live today. Everything below it is planned work, listed in the order we intend to build it.
Plans can change. Nothing on this roadmap is a promise of delivery dates or financial outcomes.
Docs
Copy the token’s contract address from any explorer or trading page and paste it into the scanner. Addresses are base58 strings, 32 to 44 characters long, for example So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112.
No wallet connection, sign-up or signature is needed. Sniff only reads public data.
Low risk means no critical flags and at most one caution. Caution means two or more signals need attention. High risk means at least one critical signal was found.
Each of the six checks in the report shows its own status and the value behind it, so you can see exactly why the verdict landed where it did.
Token authorities, holder distribution, liquidity state and insider flags come from RugCheck. Price, liquidity in USD, market cap, volume and pair age come from DexScreener. Both are queried live on every scan.
A green light is not a guarantee. Scanners can’t see off-chain intent, private agreements or wallets that were funded through clean routes. New tokens can change quickly after a scan.
Sniff is an information tool and not financial advice.
No. It never asks you to connect or sign anything. If a site claiming to be Sniff asks for a signature, leave it.
Before migration there is no LP to lock or burn. The liquidity check can only pass once the token has migrated to a pool.
Pool and bonding-curve accounts are excluded because they hold tokens for trading, not for a person.
Check that the address is a token mint, not a wallet or a pair. If the data sources are busy, wait a few seconds and scan again.
Token
The scanner is free to use. The token is how the community backs the project and follows its development.
Always verify the address here before buying. Any other address using the name is not ours.
